Reformed and Always Reforming
West Flamboro is a proud member of the Presbyterian Church in Canada, which has its roots in the Protestant Reformation and the Church of Scotland.

We believe in one Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God created all that is. God has come to us through the Holy Scriptures and through our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who died, rose again, and ascended into heaven. He sits at the right hand of God the Father until He comes again. Jesus Christ is the King and Head of the Church. The Church lives to praise God. We have no higher calling than to offer the worship that belongs to God day by day, Sunday by Sunday. We believe that our faith is alive through our actions of service. (James 2:14-26) For more information on our beliefs, go to the Presbyterian Church in Canada’s web site.
The name “Presbyterian” describes our system of government within the denomination. It is democratic at its core and is based on eldership. Teaching elders (usually referred to as ministers or pastors) and ruling elders (usually referred to as elders) share in the care and oversight of the ministry of Christ at every level of our church. There are four “courts” in our Presbyterian system, including General Assembly, Synods, Presbyteries, and Sessions. Each court is comprised of men and women who prayerfully meet to discern the mind of Christ. For more information on our beliefs, go to the Presbyterian Church in Canada’s web site.
