Motivated to Mission

Mission is at the heart of God and is what the church is called to embrace.
Mission is a response to Christ's gospel which calls believers to speak and be the good news in our world.

Ou Mission
We understand our mission in two key ways:
1. Local Mission
2. International Mission

At West Flamboro Presbyterian, some examples of our local mission are: meeting the needs of people in our city and community by volunteering at Inner City Outreach teens programs; providing food for Inner City Outreach banquets; providing a children's week-long day camp each summer; inviting the community to our KID'S DAY OUT programs, and providing opportunities for our community to hear the gospel.

On the international side of our mission thrust, we support projects all over the world through our national church office. In particular, we have chosen to focus on the country of Guatemala, raising funds to purchase cows and small animals and send children to school who otherwise would be scavenging at the Guatemala City garbage dump.
Two members of our church will join a team from Hamilton heading to Guatemala in 2010. In 2007, a team from West Flamboro went to Haiti to help build a structure for the seminary there.
